    Our Company, Ambysil International Limited, was founded in 2008 with headquarters in Lagos Nigeria, we have established a reputation for dedication and commitment. Our zeal for customer satisfaction differentiates us from the packs and positions us as the business partner of choice.

    Being a commodity trading company, we export, do wholesale supply and distribution of foods and agricultural products. We also facilitate businesses and carry out background checks of local suppliers on behalf of our foreign clients.

    Products

    We are into exports of food commodities from Nigerian and the entire West Africa coast. Prominent amongst our products are Bitter Kola, Kola Nuts, Cocoa Powder, Yam(tubers), Yam flour, Cassava flour (Lafun), Gaari (processed Cassava meal), Beans (Oloyin), Plantain flour, Fufu, Chilli Pepper, Ogbono, Vegetables, Suya Spice etc

    Bitter Kola

    Bitter Kola, otherwise known as Garcinia Kola, is found in subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests especially the rain forest of West Africa.
    It has been used for centuries by the indigenous people of these tropical rain forest to treat ailments such as coughs and fever. Over the decades, it has found more uses amongst the inhabitants of these rain forests.  

    It is particularly potent as a purgative, anti-parasitic, and anti-microbial agent.  These endowments of the Bitter Kola have been exploited for ages in the treatment of bronchitis, throat infections, chest colds, and cough by locals.

    The efficacy of Bitter Kola has increased its fame well beyond the shores of West Africa. The past decades has seen increased use of Bitter Kola in Europe, Asia, and South America.  The increasing demand has necessitated improved exports of the nuts from West Africa to these destinations. There is no doubt that the plant will make more in-roads into pharmaceutical and beverage industries.

    Kola Nuts

    There are two species of Kola nut, cola acuminate and Cola Nitida . Kola nut is native to the tropics of Africa especially the rain forests of West Africa. It is rich in caffeine and has a bitter taste. It is medicinal and has been used by the natives as stimulants due to the ability of Kola Nut attributed to the caffeine content.

     Yam

    Nigeria is the largest producer of Yam globally. It has been a staple food in Nigeria and the West Africa coast for centuries.  Its significance is measured by an annual celebration of its’ harvest by some tribes in what is called new yam festival.

    Yam is a delicious carbohydrate-rich staple. It is rich in Vitamin C and phytoestrogen
    and has been suspected, its consumption is responsible for multiple natural births among some people of the tropics.

    Yam can be eaten boiled, fried, pounded, and even in powdered or flour known as ‘’elubo’’. Details of price, packaging and delivery will be provided on inquiry.


    Cocoa Powder

    Cocoa powder is obtained from the cocoa bean. Cocoa originally from the Americas is grown in large plantations in the West Africa coast. It has been the main raw materials in the beverage and chocolate industries. Cocoa beans are obtained from the ripe cocoa pod, and sun dried to the least moisture content. The cocoa beans are grounded to fine powder form and used to make beverages and chocolate. Of recent, the other benefits of cocoa has increased its demand by small users. Cocoa powder is anti-hypertension, reduces the risk of cancer, and improves brain power and sexual performances.

    Our cocoa powder is available in different sizes ranging from the fifty kilograms to the 1kilogramme packets.

    Cassava-based commodities

    Foodstuff derived from Cassava include Lafun, Fufu, and Gari, These are staple foods of the West Africa coast. Lafun, Fufu and Gari are eaten across the West Africa coast in various forms with slight moderations in process of production and product.  We guarantee our Cassava based products come from a clean and hygienic process.

    These products are packaged in small packs ranging from 1 Kilogramme to 5 Kilogramme. However, 50 Kilogramme are packed in sacks and available on request.

    Horney Beans and Beans Flour

    The horney beans is naturally sweet and particularly loved. It is simply a delicacy and can be cherished as ewa agonyin or with moderately spicy fried stew. The beans flour is made from beans often not the horney beans such as the beans called ‘’drum’’. These products are of good quality and from the infestation of weevils.

    These products are packaged in small packs ranging from 1 Kilogramme to 5 Kilogramme. However, 50 Kilogramme are packed in sacks and available on request.
